About Us
This is a vision that was planted in the hearts of many, and manifested by a few brave women ready to draw this vision down in and through the body of our collective.

We are real-life women with a shared vision for creating a safe and sweet spaces for us all to return to right relationship with ourselves, each other, and the spirit of all things that holds us all.

Our Story
Over the years, we’ve dipped our toes into many women’s events, from big, bustling gatherings and cozy, extended retreats. Each one left us with nuggets of healing and sparks of inspiration. But even with all these beautiful moments and memories, something essential was often missing that kept us from feeling truly connected.

Enter the idea for "The Temple of Belonging."

We created this space with two big heartbeats:

1. Locality : Our events are bio-regional and local because real friendships grow best when they're close to home. We’re all about creating connections that last longer than the closing ceremony, making it easy to grab coffee or share a walk, not just during events but in the everyday rhythm of life. This is how we truly move from cosumerism to community!

2. Authenticity: We’re here to keep it real and strip back the layers of 'shoulds' and 'supposed to’s' that sometimes sneak into women’s gatherings. No need to be anything but your genuine self here—whether you’re into yoga and crystals or if you prefer sneakers and sci-fi. It’s all about celebrating the full spectrum of what it means to be a woman today, and how to come back together in reverence.

"The Temple of Belonging" is a cozy corner of the world where we celebrate the magic of our everyday lives. It’s a place to laugh, share, and grow together, anchored in the traditions that touch our hearts and the spontaneous joys that make life worth living.
Integrity Leadership Council
As The Temple of Belonging grows, we are committed to growing in a way that stays aligned with our values.
The Integrity Leadership Council is an emergent part of that commitment.

Organized through the metaphor of the wheel, the council is a small group of trusted women who help steward different areas of Temple’s life and future. Together, they support decision making, tend key relationships and resources, share creative problem solving and help ensure that growth remains connected to the values and culture that brought us here.

At its core, the Integrity Leadership Council is an experiment in practicing what we teach: that healthy communities are built through shared responsibility, trust, and leadership that is relational rather than hierarchical.

Temple has always been more village than event. This is one way we are learning how to build accordingly, together.

Alyx Somas
Alyx Somas is a 2S Native North American of multiple tribal and detribalized peoples. Rooted in life-honoring ancestral teachings, they walk as a Culture Tender, Re-indigenization Practitioner, and Collective Liberationist — guiding communities to re-member our truest human natures and to restore relationship with lineage, land, and kinship-based lifeways.

Raised by a family of 200+ kin, Alyx carries the gift of intergenerational belonging — and walks in active training toward elderhood, anchored in deep belief in all people's dignified ancestry, innate capacity to heal, and inherent belonging within the whole. Grounded in years of studying ancestral healing, decolonial systems, and grief work, Alyx is the founder of The Collectivity Project and Poets for Liberation, a core organizer of Earthsong Gathering and Liberation Lab, and a council or board member of Cascadia Song Rise, Stellar Village, Conscious Growth Convergence, Revival Gatherings, Grieving Man, and Temple of Belonging. They offer ceremonies, workshops, public speaking, consultation, 1:1 sessions, and mentorship in ancestral healing, cross-cultural repair, belonging-based decolonial systems, and initiation and grief work.
Currently, Alyx is tending the launch of Grieving Whole — a grief cohort rooted in animist kinship— alongside TCP's various community circles and councils.

Their work, The Collectivity Project, is an indigenous response to polycrisis, genocide, and ecocide — anchored in the truth that we all come from people who gathered around fires storytelling, dancing, and grieving together in medicinal ways. It is an offering toward pan-cultural interdependence and reciprocity with all of life, directly dismantling colonial wounding through relational world-building. May this collaborative work nurture our sacred responsibility as living ancestors, together.

Daje Aloh
Daje Aloh is an advisor, consultant, and vision midwife for wild-hearted creators, entrepreneurs, and culture-makers. An Afro-Indigenous, Memphis-born, Appalachian-cured storyteller, story doula, and ecosomatic depth guide, her work lives at the intersection of mythopoiesis, leadership, creative rites of passage, entrepreneurship, and collective transformation.
As founder of Storywork Studio, an Institute of Visionary Praxis, and The Midwives Studio, a ritual design and concept studio, Daje supports seekers, lovers, crafters, and kin in finding and singing the deep song of their lives. Her work invites individuals and communities into deeper relationship with imagination, liberation, emotional truth, and the living intelligence of story.
Guided by a devotion to what she calls “the internal waters” and the deep world beneath modern consciousness, Daje’s work centers listening as a sacred act. She believes there are new stories, new ways, and new templates for meeting life that long to be born into collective awareness, and that in order to nurture them, we must “get low and listen,” turning on “the ears of the psyche” to call forth what waits beneath the surface.

Through consulting, teaching, ritual design, and cultural inquiry, Daje helps individuals and organizations cultivate deeper integrity, imagination, and liberatory vision. Rooted in animist philosophy, ecosomatic practice, and depth storytelling, her work serves the collective womb of transformation: the soil’s mirror, the seasons, the breath of God, and the unfolding of more life-giving futures.
Often described through her own language as a “Hope Punk,” “Regenerative Mystic,” “Mississippi River Witch,” “Animist Minister,” and “Story Doula,” Daje’s work ultimately centers the sacred art of helping people remember who they are, what they carry, and what longs to emerge through them into the world.

Freedom Ciavalero
Marketplace Lead
I’m Freedom Ciavarello, founder of Moonbeam Daydream, a botanical skincare line rooted in ritual, intentional living, and the belief that skincare is spirit care. Through botanical formulations, thoughtful details, and meaningful connection, my work is centered around one simple idea: we all deserve spaces that feel like home to our nervous systems, our bodies, and each other.

I love creating experiences where women feel encouraged, included, supported and beautiful exactly as they are. I believe in ease, humor, authenticity, and the kind of community that allows people to soften and fully show up as themselves. To me, part of the medicine the world needs is people living more honestly, more connected to their truth, less afraid of who they are and more connected to one another. Everything I create through Moonbeam Daydream is rooted in that spirit: beauty that feels grounding, modern, approachable, and real.

Harty Kelley
Wellness Team Lead

Harty has been studying earth magic and honing her relationship to the spirit world since 1994.

Her ancestral lineage can be traced back to the Druids of the O'hAirt tribe of prehistoric Ireland, whose teachings began arriving on the wind in her early childhood.
In adulthood, those teachings have been cultivated through the east-asian threads of mindful embodiment as well as the elemental and seasonal understandings of
humans as inseparable elements of the Earth-Body. She came into the teachings of the New Age through Buddhism and Yoga in 2004, and began teaching qigong and Daoist philosophy under Master Zhonxian Wu in 2016.
Today she infuses the Buddhist and Daoist teachings into the Druidic knowledge of her heritage in an ongoing mission to help unite modern humans with their prehistoric knowing. Harty believes the path to heart freedom and sovereignty begins with ancestral remembrance and a return to the knowledge of our innate divinity.
